As the mother of a teen who is entering her junior year of high school and I'm wondering, where did the years go, I am more aware than ever how important it is to document the everyday moments... not just the "events". The quote below expresses that and also our need to really live in the moment and enjoy it all...for too soon they are grown.
Life is made of moments, small pieces of glittering mica in a long stretch of grey cement. It would be wonderful if they came to us unsummoned, but particularly in lives as busy as the ones most of us lead now, that won’t happen. We have to teach ourselves how to live, really live…to love the journey, not the destination.
such a wonderful quote!

Hi Kathryn,
What a beautiful quote! I have a son who is a junior, so I feel your pain. I love your layouts -they are just wonderful.

I already feel like time is moving too quickly with my "big" guy going into Kindergarten next week! Crazy how time flies!

What a beautiful quote, I am still trying to deal with having a new High Schooler this year. The flowers are also gorgeous.
